When she heads to San Francisco for the launch of Lemaitre Chocolates's new spa and chocolate line, Hayden hopes to mix some pleasure with business. Matters quickly turn bitter when a colleague ends up dead, and the death is deemed an accidental overdose of a secret ingredient used in the new product. Hayden finds this hard to believe and when faced with the strange behavior of several company executives and rival chocolatiers, plus another series of mishaps, our protagonist discovers that she may have been the intended target after all.
