When Olivia volunteers to work with TenderCare, an organization that supports the restoration of the gray wolf to Yellowstone Park, she becomes the target of a mysterious wolf killer.
Her job at the Museum of the Mountain Man is all that keeps her sane. Or at least she thought it was until she comes face to face with a Cheyenne Shape Shifter, Wolf Song. She often dreams of running with the wolves, escaping the guilt she feels over causing the accident that put her sister Lara in a vegetative state. This man who appears to turn into a wolf at will is surely another one of her dreams.
Danger continues to track Olivia as she deals with the loss of her sister. When Wolf Song disappears she is devastated, until she meets a man called Singer, who is eerily familiar. Could he the one who burned her house and threatened to kill her?
Singer is shot rescuing her from kidnappers. In order to save his life, she is forced to drive for the first time since the accident. She soon learns that Singer, Wolf Song and the beautiful gray wolf are one in the same, and they form a curious but sensual relationship.
